1964 | Istoria Campionatului European din Spania

A doua editie a Campionatul European s-a tinut in Spania. Numarul echipelor prezente la campania de calificare s-a marit la 29. Marea absenta fiind Germania de Vest si Grecia, care a refuzat sa se prezinte din cauza faptului ca erau in razboi cu Albania. Gazdele au reusit sa invinga detinatoare trofeului, Uniunea Sovietica, in finala, cu scorul de 2-1 pe Santiago Bernabeu, la Madrid.
