1992 | Istoria Campionatului European din Suedia

Probabil una dintre cele mai celebre editii de Campionat European. Surpriza intregii lumi a fost Danemarca, nefiind nici macar calificata la Euro, a castigat intregul turneu. UEFA nu i-a permis Iugoslaviei sa participe, pentru ca se aflau in acel moment intr-un razboi civil, iar danezii au fost chemati sa o inlocuiasca. Selectionata condusa de Richard Moller-Nielsen a trecut de Olanda in semifinale la loviturile de departajare, iar mai apoi a invins-o pe campioana mondiala de atunci, Germania, cu scorul de 2-0. Pe langa acest fapt, acesta a fost singurul turneu in care Germania unita a luat parte la o competitie majora si de asemenea, singurul turneu in care jucatori au avut tiparit numele pe spatele tricourilor.
